Violet Creams goes to Dorset

The Violet Creams team: Ana, Terry, Zadie and of course, Little Nell the van, had a wonderful time when visiting Dorset last week.

We stayed in Wimborne, famous for its Minster, as you can see above.  It was a great base to visit other areas, such as our beloved Lyme Regis.  The sun shone especially for us, we really enjoyed visiting some old friends and their lovely shops.

When you visit Lyme Regis, be sure to visit Sublyme a fantastic vintage shop located at the top of the high street.  Look out for their fabulous welcoming cat and dog.

I said to Ana, just one cream tea this visit!  As you can see from the 'before' and 'after', we certainly made it a good one. 

Frock Me - Sunday 6 March

We had a great time on Sunday at Frock Me 
and were really busy!  

Seems everyone wants vintage fabrics and scarves these days.  We also sold quite a few colourful spring clothes, as well as vintage shoes.  

We will be bringing more of the same to Frock Me next time and will try to include more vintage curtains, as these seem very popular as well.  

When we have a stall at Ardingly in April (19/20th) we are going to be selling more collectables.

We had some lovely customers on Sunday, they really make the day for us.  Look at their great vintage outfits!

 

We took a photo of our friend's stall, Maison Fay.  She sells lovely linen goods: pin cushions and linen-covered books - it really is worth a visit.
