Frock Me! Sunday 1 May

Oh what fun and games we had at Frock Me in Brighton on Sunday!  Not surprisingly, there was still a lot of wedding hysteria in the air following the Royal Wedding on Friday.  We sold most of our cream lace separates, 'very Kate', and quite a lot of vintage fabric too - seems this is what everyone likes as they can make all sorts of things to adorn their homes; one lady bought a beautiful gold curtain and said that she was going to use it as a bedspread!

Checking out the stock at Butterfly Girl.  You can contact them via butterflygirlvintage.com

Andrea and her daughter, Josephine, popped in.  Josephine bought a lovely 50s skirt in blues and greens from us at Violet Creams, Vintage Style.

There were plenty of visitors prepared to leave the sunshine in search of great vintage bargains.  Lots of people were in vintage attire and looked really fantastic - see below for a few of our favourites.

This is Jenny who we felt looked really chic in lemon with red trimmings!

Look at these fabulous outfits modelled by the people from Dress Circle, an amazing stall with wonderful 50s skirts.

Sevjan dropped by and agreed to model a couple of our hats - the purple hat with the pearl detail is £30 and the small 1950s hat is £15.  Sevjan looked great in all of our stock she tried on.

I bought a lovely blue floral 50s jacket from another trader.  I absolutely love it - ok, it doesn't go with what I've got on, but wait until I get home and match it up with my vintage wardrobe...

Fay, from Maison Fay was looking really cheery, even if she had a bit of a cold!  She always has an inviting stall.
